Terms of Use: Hanagshama, a digital chavruta

1. About. Hanagshama is a free app for studying classic works of Jewish thought, operated by Yaniv Alush (the "Operator"). Using the app means you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. You are talking to AI. The study partner in the app is artificial intelligence, not a person. It is instructed to answer from the "Hanagshama" podcast episodes and the original texts, but it can make mistakes, omit things, misinterpret, and misquote or misattribute.
3. A study aid only. Answers are not rulings in Jewish law and are not religious, legal, medical, mental-health or other professional advice. In distress or danger, contact the emergency services immediately.
4. Not the Operator's views. Answers are generated automatically and do not necessarily reflect the Operator's opinions.
5. As is. The service is provided as is and as available, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. It may change, pause or end at any time.
6. Limitation of liability. You use the app and its answers at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from use of the app, reliance on its answers, or inability to use it.
7. Age. The app is intended for ages 13 and up; users under 18 should use it with a parent's knowledge.
8. Fair use. Do not abuse, flood or try to bypass the service's limits, or use it to produce harmful or unlawful content. Do not enter sensitive personal details in the chat.
9. Ownership. The original book texts are public domain or used under their licenses. The podcast content, design and the name "Hanagshama" belong to the Operator.
10. Third parties. The app has no official connection with Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, any publisher, Sefaria, Wikisource or Anthropic, and mentioning them implies no endorsement.
11. Changes. These terms may be updated; the date above will change, and continued use means acceptance.
12. Law. These terms are governed solely by Israeli law, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
